What Are the Standards for the Use and Installation of Three-Phase Electricity Meters?
A three-phase meter is a relatively complex meter, generally used in large factories and shopping malls and other facilities. Because of the large amount of electricity that needs to be metered, the accuracy of the meter is very important. The following editor will introduce the use and installation standards of three-phase electricity meters.
1. How to use a three-phase meter?
1). The electric meter has been inspected and qualified when it leaves the factory, and it is sealed and printed, and it can be installed and used. If there is no lead seal or stored for too long, please ask the relevant departments to re-calibrate and seal before installation and use.
2). The meter should be installed vertically and not inclined in a dry and ventilated place. The bottom plate on which the meter is installed should be fixed on a wall that is strong and fire-resistant and not easy to vibrate. The height of the meter is about 1.8m.
3). Wiring according to the wiring diagram, tighten the wiring screws, and fasten the connecting plate in the terminal box.
4). The actual electric energy number is the value obtained by multiplying the displayed number by the transformation ratio of the connected electric meter through the transformer.
5). One form and one card: The IC card held by the user cannot be exchanged. If it is lost, it should go to the power supply department (ie the electricity sales office) to purchase a replacement.
6). Preparation for electricity purchase: The user must insert the IC card into the card holder once, so that the data in the table can be sent back to the computer database.
7). Electricity purchase method: When selling electricity, insert the IC card into the IC card reader, operate the computer at the same time, and encrypt the user number, pre-purchased electricity, capacity limit mode and limited power into the IC card.
8). Use of electricity card: Insert the electricity purchase card into the card holder. If it is a valid card, the meter will automatically read the data into the meter. The LCD meter display shows: purchased electricity, total electricity purchased, meter times, alarm electricity, credit limit, capacity limit power.
Then take out the card and keep it properly.
9). Operation display: During the operation of the meter, the LCD screen will display the remaining power and total power consumption in the meter in turn.
2. What are the installation standards for three-phase electricity meters?
1). There should be no corrosive gas and liquid in the installation place and no strong impact around. Choose a relatively safe place. The operating temperature of the meter should not exceed 50 degrees Celsius. Avoid direct sunlight, which can prolong the service life of the meter.
2). The meter installation should be installed in a special meter box, and the installation height must meet the specifications. The meter installed in the meter box should not be less than 1 meter from the ground, and the meter installed in the suspended meter box should not be less than 1.8m from the ground. The installation of three-phase meters must follow this regulation.
3). The circuit between the electric energy meter and the current and voltage should be connected with a joint junction box, which can reduce the time spent by the staff in troubleshooting.
4). Voltage and current transformers must be products with the same specifications and must be produced by regular manufacturers. Poor quality products can easily cause short circuits. The connection point must be firmly fastened to prevent power failure. The transformer must be installed in a meter box, and measures must be taken to prevent electricity theft.
5). Electronic meters used for remote sampling, electronic meters for remote sampling must be installed with a system to facilitate data collection. Signal lines must be shielded twisted-pair conductors, and the single end of the shielded conductors should be grounded when erecting the signal lines, which can improve the reliability of communication.
6). If there is a metal structure meter box, the meter box and the shell of the high-voltage transformer must be grounded. Because the metal meter box will conduct electricity, resulting in inaccurate measurement, the ground wire should be made of copper core wire, and its wire diameter should not be less than 2.5 square millimeters.
