Ultrasonic water meter installation requirements
During the installation process, there are some problems that need to be paid attention to, and the construction unit needs to pay attention to the details. All parts of the flowmeter (including flow sensor parts, temperature sensor parts and calculator parts) should be installed in a location that avoids exposure, water flooding, freezing, chemical and electromagnetic pollution, and is convenient for disassembly and meter reading.
Installation of ultrasonic water meter:
1) Before installation, the system pipeline should be thoroughly cleaned, and the hemp, sand and other debris in the branch pipe should be removed to avoid flowmeter failure;
2) The meter body is installed horizontally or vertically;
3) The direction of water flow should be consistent with the direction indicated by the arrow on the meter body;
4) The diameter of the front and rear pipes should be consistent with the diameter of the meter body;
5) A straight pipe section of 10 times DN should be left in front of the meter body and 8 times DN should be left behind the meter (DN is the nominal diameter of the flowmeter);
6) Valves and filters must be installed before the meter, and a check valve must be installed behind the meter;
7) After installation, a lead seal should be placed between the header nut and the pipe; the flow sensor and the platinum resistance.
From the measurement principle and structure of the large-caliber ultrasonic water meter, it has no moving parts during work, and uses an unobstructed measurement method, so there is no mechanical wear and tear. Only the electronic components and batteries are the only components to determine the service life of the electronic components. It has been verified in many home appliances (such as TV sets). Generally, the service life is more than 10 years. The lithium battery of the ultrasonic water meter has a life of more than 10 years. Therefore, the actual service life of the ultrasonic water meter is 4~ that of the mechanical water meter. 5 times.
