Notes on readings of different water meters
I believe that many people need to learn how to correctly read the water meter readings. Today I will give you a brief introduction. Generally speaking, there are three common types of water meters on the market, namely, analog water meters, digital direct-reading water meters, and wireless remote water meters. So what should we pay attention to when reading these three different types of water meters?
1. Pointer type water meter: When reading this type of water meter, it is necessary to understand the different meanings represented by the black pointer and the red pointer, among which:
1) Black pointer readings: thousands (×1000); hundreds (×100); tens (×10); ones (×1).
2) Red pointer reading: the red pointer reading, used for inspection at the factory.
2. Digital direct-reading water meter: The first four digits on the instrument panel are black, the fifth digit is red, and there are only three red pointers. The red pointer "x0.1" next to it means "the pointer points to the number x0.1 tons. The "x0.01" next to the red pointer means "the pointer points to the number x0.01 tons".
3. Remote water meters: Nowadays, new buildings generally use smart wireless remote water meters. The readings of this type of water meters are very simple. The general wireless remote water meters have a protective cover on the dial. You must check the wireless When transmitting the water consumption on the remote water meter, first open the blue cover; then on the wireless remote water meter, there is a rectangular display window. The number displayed on this is the current total water consumption. With m3, it means that the unit is cubic.
