The Role of The Concentrator and The Description of The Transmission Method
The concentrator, the remote meter and the collector together form a remote meter reading control and management system. The concentrator is a data aggregation device in the meter reading area, which is used to collect and store the data of water, electricity, gas and heat meters. The concentrator has both upstream and downstream channels. The uplink channel can choose GPRS wireless mode, telephone line mode or local area network mode to realize long-distance communication with the management center. The downlink channel uses micro-power wireless mode to collect, process and store data from the collectors under its jurisdiction.
Data collection: It can collect the data indication of each meter, such as current cumulative flow, cumulative flow, positive (reverse) active meter code, settlement day heat, flow, water supply temperature, inlet water temperature, etc. It can collect 3 channels of 4-20mA signals and 2 channels of remote signaling signals.
Collection methods:
1) Real-time collection: The concentrator directly collects various data, parameters and event data stored in the collector or metering instruments.
2) Timing automatic collection: The concentrator automatically collects the data of the metering instrument according to the collection period set by the master station.
3) Automatic supplementary copying: The concentrator has the automatic supplementary copying function for the metering instruments that have not read the data within the specified time. When the supplementary copy fails, an event record is generated and reported to the master station
Monitoring of the running status of the metering instrument: The concentrator monitors the running status of the metering instrument. When the data of the metering instrument is abnormal, the occurrence time and abnormal data are recorded according to the event record.
Concentrator parameter setting and query: The master station can set and query the following parameters remotely and locally through the LCD:
1) Parameters of the local table, data and alarm information of the query table.
2) The parameters of the collector table, the collection period, the storage period, etc.
3) Concentrator communication parameters, such as master station communication address, communication protocol, IP address, communication routing, etc.
