How to determine the minimum number of batteries?

It depends on the battery voltage of the solar inverter. We manufacture 10KW three-phase solar inverter with battery voltage of 48/96/192VDC, so the minimum number of batteries required for a solar power system is as follows

1. If the inverter uses 48VDC battery voltage, the minimum number of 12VDC batteries is 4PCS (48VDC/12VDC)

2. If the inverter uses 96VDC battery voltage, the minimum number of 12VDC batteries is 8PCS (96VDC/12VDC)

3. If the inverter uses 192VDC voltage, the minimum number of 12VDC batteries is 16PCS (192VDC/12VDC)

So which situation is better for you? After all, the lower the number of cells, the lower the overall price of a three-phase solar system. So less battery is better? not quite. A three-phase solar power system is a complete system, and every part of it is interconnected.
