The power carrier communication meter reading scheme adopts carrier concentrator and carrier meter. It can communicate and transmit data directly by using the power line, no additional wiring is required, and it can be extended freely. However, data cannot be transmitted across the station area, and if the load is too large, it will interfere with the signal and affect the stability.

wireless concentrator
The micro-power wireless communication meter reading scheme adopts wireless concentrator and wireless meter. It can communicate across the station area without arranging communication lines, free construction, fast communication speed, and use wireless network communication to transmit data. However, the communication distance is limited, generally within 4 kilometers, but it is sufficient in general application scenarios. Due to the high cost of wireless modules, the price is the most expensive.
