Power supply reliability is a measure of continuous power supply capability.
1. Rate of power supply reliability.
Power supply reliability is usually measured by the power supply reliability rate. The reliability rate of a power supply refers to the percentage of the actual power supply time to users by the power supply department in a certain statistical period to the total time of the statistical period.
The actual power supply time is equal to the total time in the statistical period minus the power outage time. The power outage time shall include accidental outages, temporary outages, and planned maintenance outages.
2. Measures to improve power supply reliability
1) Use electrical equipment with high reliability as much as possible, and strict inspection must be carried out before use.
2) On the premise of ensuring the predetermined functions of the system, the complexity of the system should be reduced as much as possible.
3) Determine the working reserve according to the level of electricity load, including open reserve and dark reserve.
4) Strengthen maintenance work, and replace old components regularly, so that the system is always in good condition to complete the intended function.
5) Strengthen the repair work, and the equipment and components of the important links in the system should be repaired on time to ensure that their performance is intact.
6) Pay attention to management work, and insist on the design, production and use the three-party information exchange. Publicity and education of reliability engineering should be carried out for production and users. In addition, on-site personnel should be educated in the strict implementation of operating procedures to prevent human failures happened.
