How to Wire Three Way Switch?

The three-way switch wiring method is also very common, and we often use it in our daily life. For example, in the bedroom, it is used more between the upper and lower stairs. For the specific wiring method, please refer to the picture below.

The first thing to note is that to do this kind of control loop, you need to buy a corresponding dual-control switch. Two single-connection dual-control switches, and one dual-connection dual-control switch. Wiring example: install a single-connection double-control switch 1 at the door of the bedroom, a double-connection double-control switch 2 at the left bedside, and a single-connection double-control switch 3 at the right bedside.

The live wire is connected to L of switch 1,

L1 L2 are respectively connected to L1 and L2 of switch 2.

The opening points of L1 and L2 are respectively short-circuited with wires,

The closing points of L1 and L2 of switch 2 is respectively wired to the L1L2 terminal of switch 3.

The L terminal of switch 3 can be connected to the light wire.
