How To Solve the Water Meter Rotation?

1. A small amount of rotation of the municipal water supply water meter

The direct supply part of the water meter rotation is caused by the pressure fluctuation of the municipal pipe network caused by the frequent opening of the secondary water supply facility with a large flow of water. In the case of a few rotating water meters, a check valve can also be installed in front of the water meter to prevent the pressure fluctuation of the pipe network from being transmitted to the back of the water meter to solve the problem of water meter rotation. However, due to the loss of the water head caused by the check valve, the check valve should be installed on the premise that it does not affect the normal water use of the user.

2. Insufficient spacing of water meter pipes leads to water meter rotation

At present, most of the household meters are installed with multiple water meters in the same water meter well. There are situations such as too thin branch pipes, too small spacing between water meters, and not long enough straight pipe sections before and after. In the case of one of the households using water, due to insufficient water flow through the branch pipe, a negative pressure is formed near the water user's branch, and the water pressure distribution balance between the water meters is broken, and the stored water of the other users' water meters flows back into the branch to form the water meter inversion. When the water is stopped, the pressure in front of the other users' water meters will rise, and the liquid will rotate forward after compressing the meters, and finally the water meters will rotate.

For the existing water meter rotation, it can be solved by installing a check valve in front of the water meter. For new installations, users can prevent it by increasing the diameter of the branch pipe and leaving enough space between the left and right of the water meter.

3. Water meter rotation caused by the presence of air in the pipeline

(1)Rotation of the water meter of the pressurized part

For the large-area water meter rotation that exists in the pressurized part of the user, it is mainly caused by the existence of gas in the pressurized part of the pipeline, and the pressure fluctuation during the operation of the pressurized pump compresses the gas. It can be solved by installing an exhaust valve at the end of the partition layer to exhaust the gas in the pipeline through the exhaust valve.

(2)The rotation of the water meter is caused by the presence of gas in the pipeline in the user's home
