How Important Is A Full Power Inverter
The output power of the inverter must be greater than the power used by the electrical appliance in order for the electrical appliance to operate normally. If the power of the inverter is insufficient, and the actual electrical power is greater than the actual output power of the inverter, the life of the inverter will be reduced, and even the inverter will be burned out. There will be a situation like an inverter with an output power of 2000w but cannot drive an electrical appliance with a rated power of 1500w.
When purchasing an inverter, you should carefully check whether the output power unit is W/KW or VA/KVA. The unit is W/KW is active power, and the unit is VA/KVA is apparent power. Active power = apparent power * power factor cosΦ (cosΦ is usually less than 1). Some unscrupulous manufacturers will deliberately confuse active power and apparent power to mislead consumers. For example: 1000VA inverter, if the power factor is only 0.5, then its active power is only 500W. You will find that driving a 500W motor is no problem, but a 1000W motor cannot.
Our company refuses false standard power. The rated power of the inverter is 2000W, and the measured power is also 2000W. It can easily drive 2000W electrical appliances.
