Working Principle and Model of Electric Meter(1)

Definition of energy meter

An instrument specially used to measure the accumulated value of electric energy in a certain period of time is called an electric energy meter, commonly known as a watt-hour meter, a fire meter, and a kilowatt-hour meter.

The electric energy meter is the product of the combination of sampling technology, micro-processing technology, design technology and experience, and is an interdisciplinary high-tech product. Electric energy meter manufacturers realize various functions of electric energy meters according to their own design understanding and application skills. In terms of electric energy meter products, it already has the requirements of multi-function, networking, intelligence and digitization, which can meet the requirements of various current measurement. Such as power metering, reactive power metering, demand calculation, power grid quality detection, power grid event recording and other complex functions, and can be used as a communication slave station to exchange data with the central control master station.
