What Should I Do If the Household Water Meter Fails Abnormally?

1. Water meter rotation
Causes of failure: pipeline pressure fluctuation, air column in pipeline, water meter and main pipeline too close, water hammer effect when adjacent users use water, leakage in the pipe network behind the meter, water nozzle is not closed tightly.

2. The dial is black, and the words cannot be read clearly
Cause of failure: It may be because the water quality is too poor, the dirt is deposited and deteriorated, causing the glass cover to be dirty
Solution: The meter measurement function will not fail, just contact the manufacturer for cleaning.
3. The sensitivity is not good, or the water meter does not go
Cause of failure: debris in the pipe network causes the counter to be stuck, the water meter is overloaded, and the wear is too large.
Solution: disassemble the watch for cleaning and install the filter. Check for broken gears, burrs, missing teeth, and replace damaged parts or watch.
4. The word wheel of the water meter does not carry or the pointer falls off
Cause of failure: The gear and the character wheel drive pinion are stuck, the oil pressure rod is broken and separated from the gear, the pointer and the gear shaft are not tightly matched, the vibration falls off, and the pointer is not installed in place.
Solution: Check whether the gear is broken, whether the gear has burrs, missing teeth, replace the damaged parts or change the watch.
Abnormal conditions of water meter damage, such as water meter reversal, pointer not rotating, high-speed rotation and other problems. Find out the abnormal cause of the water meter in time and deal with it accordingly, so as not to affect the normal water supply and cause economic losses.
