What Is The Difference Between A Three-Phase Three-Wire Meter And A Three-Phase Four-Wire Meter?
The three-phase electricity meter is used to measure the electric energy output in the three-phase AC circuit. Due to the different wiring methods of the measurement circuit, the three-phase meter is divided into three-phase three-wire system and interaction, so that the aluminum plate is in a magnetic field. The obtained speed is proportional to the active power of the load, so as to achieve the purpose of measuring electric energy. Three-phase four-wire system. The three-phase four-wire power meter can measure the active power of the three-phase four-wire symmetrical or asymmetrical load; the three-phase three-wire power meter can only measure the active power of the three-phase three-wire symmetrical or asymmetrical load.
The working principle of the three-phase three-wire electric meter is basically the same as that of the single-phase electric meter. The three-phase electric meter generates a magnetic field through the current and voltage components, which is simultaneously related to the braking torque.
When a three-phase four-wire meter works, the three sets of current and voltage components generate a moving magnetic field. The total torque acting on the aluminum plate by the moving magnetic field is the sum of the torques generated by the three groups of components, so that the speed of the aluminum plate in the magnetic field is proportional to the active power of the load, so as to achieve the purpose of measuring electrical energy.
The installation of the three-phase electronic energy meter must comply with the installation standards. Typically, three-phase electronic meters are installed by professional electricians. Calling the power company is usually installed by the people of the power company, but we also have to understand some installation standards of the three-phase electronic meter during the installation process, so that we can better control some installation details. Three-phase electronic energy meter installation precautions:
1. When installing the instrument, the wiring sequence must be correct, because once the wiring sequence is wrong, the circuit will be short-circuited and disconnected;
2. Usually, the three-phase meter will have voltage transformers and current transformers, and the capacity of the meter box must be sufficient to ensure the accuracy of the measurement;
3. Parallel voltage loop and series current loop;
4. If there are two transformers, the voltage and current must be wired in sequence, and the voltage is usually connected to the power supply side related to the current;
5. The voltage transformer cannot be short-circuited.
