Water meter introduction:
Smart water meter is a new type of water meter that uses modern microelectronic technology, modern sensing technology and smart IC card technology to measure water consumption, transmit water data and settle transactions. Traditional water meters generally only have the functions of flow collection and mechanical pointers to display water consumption. Smart water meters are a big step forward. In addition to recording and electronically displaying water consumption, smart water meters can also control water consumption as agreed.
Water meter advantages:

Water meter installation:
1. Select the correct diameter of the water meter.
2. Install it horizontally, with the surface facing up, and the direction of the arrow on the case is the same as the direction of the water flow. The installation location should avoid exposure to sunlight, flooding, freezing and pollution to facilitate disassembly and meter reading. For newly installed pipelines, be sure to rinse the sand, gravel, hemp, and other debris in the pipeline before installing the water meter to avoid water meter failure.
3. Valves should be installed upstream and downstream of the water meter, and all of them should be opened when using.
4. Necessary straight pipe sections or equivalent rectifiers should be installed upstream and downstream of the water meter. The length of the upstream straight pipe section is required to be no less than 10D, and the length of the downstream straight pipe section is no less than 5D (D is the nominal diameter of the water meter). For the eddy current phenomenon caused by elbow or centrifugal pump, a rectifier must be installed before the straight pipe section.
5. When installing the water meter, it should be noted that the water outlet of the downstream pipeline of the water meter is more than 0.5m higher than the water meter, in order to prevent the water meter from being incorrectly measured due to insufficient water flow in the pipeline.
6. The water meter has excellent anti-blocking performance, but it is sensitive to sediment and weeds in the pipeline, so it should be avoided as much as possible during use. If there is sediment and weeds in the pipeline, it should be cleaned up in time, otherwise it will affect the normal measurement of the water meter.
