The Meter Manufacturer Teaches You How to Read the Meter Reading

In our daily life, we touch loads such as lamps, TVs, refrigerators, electric fans and household appliances such as single-phase motors. In operation, it is connected to the circuit by two wires, and they are both single-phase loads. In a three-phase four-wire system power supply, multiple single-phase loads will be connected to the three-phase circuit as evenly as possible, and they will not be concentrated in the single-phase circuit of the three-phase circuit.


Here's how to look at the various meters:


1. Straight forward single-phase meter


The reading that can be directly subtracted from the number is the amount of electricity. The incoming wire of the straight-type electric meter is thicker, and carefully observe whether it is connected through the transformer.


2. Three-phase electricity meter connected by current transformer connection


The meter has 10 wires. Note the current ratio of the connected current transformers. The current transformer has a number on the nameplate. They are all marked on a numerical scale of 5, such as 100/5150/5, etc., and these numerical scales are read on the meter. This number multiplied by the current ratio is the measured charge, and to be precise, the variable losses and line losses must be added together.


3. Single-phase electricity meter measures the electricity of three-phase electricity


The power reading method is to read the meter number by connecting directly to the meter and multiply it by 3. If the meter is connected through a transformer, the meter number should be read multiplied by the transformer current multiple and then multiplied by 3.


4. The smart meter has only one LCD screen


If it is single phase, the total power and residual power will be displayed directly and can be read directly. If it is an IC card meter, only the LED display is a single-card meter, then there will be a small red dot on the meter, and the red dot jumps to the total usage, which is the total usage, and jumps to the rest to be the surplus. When using dual graphics cards, you can read above or below. The three-phase prepaid meter has a direct reading, and the reading of the mutual inductance meter is multiplied by the transformer magnification.
