Differences in monitoring functions between the power management system and the remote meter reading system:
The remote meter reading system mainly records the electric energy measured by the user-end meter and realizes the purpose of automatically copying the user's electricity amount and monitoring the qualified rate of automatic power-off and voltage in arrears. The power management system can not only copy the electrical parameters (electric energy, voltage, current, frequency, power, etc.) collected by the intelligent monitoring terminal, but also copy the switch status, the position of the knife switch, the protection action signal, the total accident trip signal, the warning signal, the cycle wave, time, equipment parameters, protection settings, temperature, pressure, humidity, fire alarm and other data. The data is more comprehensive, providing detailed and reliable data for user transformation, power management and equipment maintenance.
Differences between the power management system and the remote meter reading system in smart meters:
The smart metering devices used in the remote meter reading system are mostly prepaid meters, which are used at the user end. The smart metering devices used in the power management system are mostly multi-function meters, which are mostly used in power distribution rooms and substations.
The application of remote meter reading system and power management system relieves the human and financial resources invested by enterprises and society in this area to a certain extent, improves the cycle and accuracy of meter reading, and provides reliable data for audit and analysis work.
