The Composition and Function of Remote Energy Meters

The remote meter reading monitoring system is a network management system that integrates the latest computer technology, network technology, communication technology, automatic measurement technology and automatic control technology.

This system is a meter reading monitoring method that transmits the meter data to the management center computer through 485 bus or GPRS mobile communication network. It not only saves a lot of manpower and material resources, but also avoids errors caused by manual copying, and greatly speeds up the data Compared with other meter reading methods, it has the advantages of low construction and operation costs, stable network, simple networking, and strong real-time performance.

Composition:

The system is composed of three parts: management center computer, management software and 485 bus or GPRS collector. The user terminal is always online, automatically sends real-time data on site, and can respond to the query and control instructions of the management center computer in time.

Function:

Remote meter reading: The 485 bus or GPRS communication terminal regularly uploads the data collected by the field instrument to the management center computer through the signal line or mobile communication network.

Data analysis: By analyzing the uploaded data, the system automatically generates various reports and draws various curves or bar graphs. Managers can grasp the user's energy consumption status in time and provide timely and reliable information for production, management, charging and decision-making.

Loss management: The system will automatically calculate the line loss or pipe loss. If the difference between the total meter and the sub-meter of the monitoring line exceeds the reasonable loss range, the system will alarm and prompt to facilitate the management personnel to check and stop leaks as soon as possible.

Alarm management: For abnormal situations in the measurement data of each measurement point, such as electricity stealing, voltage, current overrun, etc., the system will automatically alarm and prompt, and can also notify the main management personnel by text message, so as to find the problem in time.

Remote control: The CCM communication control module can be set up on the field instrument, and the CCM module can accept the instructions from the management center computer to open or close the relay, to realize the remote real-time control function.

Billing management: The system can calculate expenses according to the transcribed data and generate user settlement bills; for prepaid users, it can generate a consumption list to facilitate user reconciliation; it can also generate recharge detailed bills to facilitate financial reconciliation by the management department.

Prepaid management: Input the prepaid amount into the computer of the management center, the system settles the cost once a day, deducts it from the prepaid, reminds the user when the balance is insufficient, and remotely shuts down when the balance is zero. This method has irreplaceable advantages for complex pricing functions such as time-of-use pricing, tiered pricing, and preferential pricing.
