What is Concentrator?

The concentrator is the main equipment of this system, and it is the bridge connecting the background management system and the front-end electric energy meter. It can centrally transcribe and store the data of the electric energy meter in the station area, transmit the read electric meter data back to the background management system, and transmit the system control information to the electric energy meter to realize meter reading and remote on-off control.

The main functions of the concentrator:

1. Setting parameters can be set by the background system or PDA, including database table number, clock, period, frozen meter reading time, automatic periodic meter reading day, relay parameters, and parameters of start and stop reading status, etc.

2. Read and store data, the concentrator reads and stores the meter data in the station area during the meter reading period.

3. Relay function, the concentrator can automatically activate the relay according to the learning result to realize relay meter reading.

4. Freeze function, the concentrator can freeze the meter reading of the meter in the station area according to the background settings.

5. Remote monitoring, support the background system to remotely monitor the meter in real time, and analyze the situation of the meter.

6. Self-diagnosis function, which can automatically perform system detection, and record and alarm when abnormality is found.

7. Intelligent, with the intelligence of memory and perception of the grid structure, self-analysis and self-learning of the reading results, once a meter is not successfully read directly, it can quickly select a suitable relay meter through the learning results to achieve relay reading.
