How To Read the Specification and Signal of Three-Phase Electricity Meter?
How to see the specification signal of the three-phase meter and how to calculate the magnification
Today's three-phase electricity meters are generally viewed directly on the screen, and there are text prompts displayed on the screen. The total number of degrees of the three-phase meter, the text above is generally "positive total active power". Three-phase electricity meters generally have up and down buttons next to the screen, which can open the data in the meter up and down. Next, let's take a look at how to see the specification signal of a three-phase meter and how to calculate the magnification.
1. How to read the specification signal of the three-phase electric meter
The first letter is generally D: means the meter
The second letter is different, S means three-phase three-wire, T means three-phase four-wire, three-phase three-wire is generally a high-voltage meter
The third letter means active and reactive, S means active, X means reactive, Z means intelligence, S means electronic
The fourth letter generally indicates the function: D for multi-function, Y for prepaid, F for multi-rate, I for carrier, etc.
2. How to calculate the magnification of a three-phase meter
Three-phase electricity meters generally have more transformer-type connection methods, and there will be fewer direct connections. It can also be seen from the interface for looking at the meter. Generally, a straight-through three-phase meter has only 6 holes, and a current and voltage transformer is added, which must be multiplied by a voltage and current transformer.
Actual electricity consumption = meter measurement * current transformer transformation ratio * voltage transformer transformation ratio
For example, if the magnification of the transformer is 5/1000, then the magnification of the current transformer is 200. If the total electricity used in the three-phase meter is 525kwh, the actual electricity consumption is 525kwh*200=105000kwh. If there is a voltage transformer, it needs to be multiplied by the multiplier of the voltage transformer.
The above is the specification signal view of the three-phase meter and the multiplying algorithm, I hope it will help you. If any questions, please feel free to contact us.
