The meter reading concentrator can generally support the meter reading of 1024 electric meters, but it does not mean that it is easy to use. If you want to ensure high reliability, it is recommended to reduce the number of meters connected to the meter reading concentrator to less than 200 meters. Such meter reading reliability is guaranteed.
3. Telecom signal reliability
Wireless telecommunication signals are reliable and stable. The problem is that in relatively deep basements and remote mountainous areas, the reliability of these wireless signals is poor, which will inevitably lead to frequent problems with the meter reading system. So how should we solve the problem? If the signal is poor, in fact, sometimes communication is possible, and sometimes communication is not possible. So, we must have a mechanism to find out the law of signal strength. That is, when the signal is strong, the operation of the meter is completed. For example, if the electricity meter is in arrears, it will not trip immediately. When the signal is strong, the tripping operation is performed, which facilitates the closing of the meter. Because once the meter is in arrears and trips, the user will immediately make a mobile payment operation. That is, the closing operation is also carried out almost at the same time. But for this series of operations, the meter reading system chose a better time to complete the operation.
