How Do Smart Meters Read Degrees?
The watt-hour meter is also called an electric meter, and it is necessary to use an electric meter as long as it is used for electricity. A 220V single-phase meter is commonly used in households, and a three-phase meter is required for a three-phase four-wire system in an industrial enterprise. An electricity meter is an electrical instrument used to measure the power consumption of electrical energy over a certain period of time. When current flows through the meter, an internal electrical device causes the calculator to start counting. When the power consumption reaches 1KWh (degrees), the word of the watt-hour meter will be displayed as 1KWh, and the digits can be carried.
How does a smart meter read the degree? Compared with the old-fashioned meter, the smart meter has the functions of high measurement accuracy, intelligent reasoning, real-time electricity price inquiry, electricity storage, meter reading time freeze, balance alarm, remote information transmission and other functions, which can avoid the occurrence of human errors. It can also effectively prevent power theft.
The first type: general single-phase electricity meters and three-phase electricity meters, you can directly read the current number minus the reading of the last meter reading, which is the electricity.
The second: through the current transformer. The meter has 10 wires. Attention must be paid to the current ratio of the connected current transformers. There is a number on the nameplate of the current transformer, and they are all numbers other than multiples of 5. For example, in units of 100/5, 150/5, etc., the number read on the meter multiplied by the current ratio is the measured electricity. To be precise, the strain loss and line loss must be added.
The third type: single-phase electricity meter measures the electricity of three-phase electricity. The battery reading method is to connect the meter directly to read the number on the meter and multiply by 3. If a meter connected through a transformer is to read the meter number, multiply the transformer current by 3.
Fourth: The smart meter has only one LCD screen. If it is single-phase, the total power and remaining power will be displayed directly, which can be read directly.
