The reasons for the burnout of the IC card smart meter are as follows:
1. Due to the carelessness of some staff when installing the electric energy meter, they did not tighten the wiring screws or perform copper-aluminum transition treatment. Cause poor contact or oxidation, burn out the junction box, and cause disconnection at the connection of the current coil. Therefore, when wiring, be sure to tighten the screws and carry out anti-oxidation treatment.
2. With the development of the market economy and the improvement of people's living standards, the power machinery such as small wheat threshing machines, peanut shellers, and tofu machines in rural areas has increased sharply. At the same time, a large number of electrical appliances have entered ordinary households, and the lighting load has greatly increased, and many users still use the originally purchased 1(2)A, 2(4)A, 2.5(5)A and other mechanical energy meters. This kind of electric energy meter has poor workmanship and poor overload performance. It is easy to cause the current coil and even the electric energy meter to burn out. Preventive measures: First, the user should reasonably and scientifically match the electric energy meter according to the power consumption capacity (or consult the local power supply business window). The second is to use an all-electronic wide-load electric energy meter, such as 5(20)A and 10(40)A electric energy meters.
3. At present, there are many inferior electric energy meters on the market. This kind of electric energy meter has quality problems in the selection of components and coils, welding point processing, and assembly process. Using this kind of low-quality electric energy meter is easy to burn, and it is also very easy to cause accidents. Advise the majority of users not to buy low-quality electric energy meters cheaply, but to purchase electric energy meters from local units with sales qualifications.
4. Due to the aging of the line, the rat bites the wire, and the short circuit caused by careless maintenance of sockets and switches at home, in this case, the electric energy meter burns the most seriously. Preventive measures: First, maintain and inspect the line frequently, find hidden dangers in time and eliminate them; second, after the maintenance at home, ensure the correct wiring, and then turn on the knife switch.
5. In places with sparse population and scattered living in rural areas, the line from the transformer to the user is far away, and the voltage drop is too large. The line voltage of some users is only 180V, not to mention that the power voltage can reach 380V. Therefore, the current through the user's electric energy meter will increase for appliances with the same power. If the user's electric energy meter is matched according to the 220V working voltage, it may burn out.
6. Due to improper operation, the power line was connected to the lighting line by mistake, causing the voltage coil of the electric energy meter to burn out. Therefore, when wiring, be sure to measure the voltage before wiring.
7. Natural disasters, lightning strikes cause the voltage coil to burn out. Preventive measures: When installing the electric energy meter, choose the installation location reasonably to avoid lightning strike.
